IRG Development Services Limited (IRGDSL) is an independent and multidisciplinary consulting firm was founded to provide advanced professional solutions and consultancy services to clients in Bangladesh and other developing nations. IRG stands for International Resources Group. IRGDSL started its functioning as a partnership concern in 2005 and converted to a private limited company in 2008. Our technical assistance and consultancy services range from one-man missions to full-fledged multi-skilled team while the project period may vary from a few days to several years for feasibility study to detailed investigation and design, implementation supervision, monitoring and evaluation, and also post evaluation.

IRGDSL is registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Bangladesh, as a private limited company. The principals and key personnel of the company gained wealth of exposures and experiences in various and diversified fields of development activities including agriculture, education, engineering, water resources, fisheries forestry and livestock, energy and power, health and family welfare, finance, trade and commerce, small and micro enterprise development, rural and urban development, municipal services, forestry and environment, and other natural resources development sectors in country and abroad. The overseas experience of key managements include Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, UAE, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Cambodia, Afghanistan, Myanmar and LAO PDR.

Key management and the professionals of the company have worked extensively in the public and private sector consultancy in Bangladesh and abroad with international donors and development partners such as ADB, World Bank (WB), International Finance Corporation (IFC), European Commission (EC), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), GIZ and also UNGM group namely: CTBTO, FAO, IAEA, IFAD, ILO, ITC, ITU, OPCW, UN Secretariat, UNAIDS, UNDP, UNESCO, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNIDO, UNOPS, UNRWA, UNCDF, UN-Women, WFP, WHO, WIPO, WMO and several corporate clients and government agencies. The key professionals and management of the Company have participated in several project reviews, preparations and formulations, and appraisal missions in the country and overseas.

Objectives

IRGDSL's major focus is to:

• -To carryout comprehensive environmental impact assessment study.
• -To prepare environmental management and monitoring plan.
• -To prepare the cost estimate for implementation, environmental management and monitoring plan.

Approach

IRGDSL's approach is to help build better governance in institutions and to work collaboratively to strengthen the impact of public and private sector development in order to reduce poverty in emerging market economies.

We work with the governments, private sectors, multilateral and bilateral institutions, and community based organizations to help transform institutional performance. We focus on building more efficient, effective and transparent institutions that are able to sustain performance improvements and increased returns to expenditure.

Organizational Structure

The Board of Directors, by provision of the memorandum of articles and memorandum of association, held the responsibility and control of the management and running of all the affairs of the Company. Chairman is the chief executive of the company who is nominated by the board of directors. Subject to the control and supervision of the Board of Directors the business and other affairs of the Company are carried on by the Managing Director.
